Around half of Virginia’s small businesses are having trouble hiring workers according to a report from small business website Alignable. The study found the hiring numbers are actually improved from February when 6 in 10 businesses couldn’t find employees. Nationally around 63% of small businesses reported difficulty finding qualified staff. Officials say restaurants and hotels are having the most trouble hiring.
