The Pittsylvania Pet Center needs volunteers as it continues to care for nearly 70 dogs seized last week from a residence in Hurt. According to the Star-Tribune the shelter already had more than 90 dogs. Volunteers are needed to clean facility, do laundry, answer phones, serve our community, and care for the other shelter animals. There also remains a need for supplies including buckets, mops, and Dawn dish soap.
