Authorities in several states are now looking for a South Carolina man in connection with the theft of hundreds of gallons of gas in North Carolina last month. Police say about 400 gallons of gas was stolen from a gas station in High Point by 28 year old Khalif Wells of Newberry, South Carolina. The say he used remote device to steal the fuel which allowed the pumps to dispense the gas without payment, and now warrants for felony larceny have been issued for Wells “with full extradition from South Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee.” Wells is also wanted in Pennsylvania on unrelated probation violation charges. Additional arrests and charges are pending.
