BASSETT, Va. – A Henry County family has been arrested and charged with a series of residential break-ins in neighboring Patrick County.

32-year-old French Andrew Bailey and 34-year-old Jessica Renee Bailey, along with 30-year-old Jamie Bailey, were taken into custody last week on multiple counts of breaking-and-entering, grand larceny, and petit larceny.

French and Jamie Bailey are being held in the Patrick County jail without bond while Jessica Bailey is being held on a $5,000 secured bond. All three list Bassett addresses.

The Patrick County Sheriff’s Office said the trio has been linked to eight break-ins that have occurred over the past several months. Tools, collectibles and equipment valued at thousands of dollars were stolen during the entries; however, some of the items have been recovered.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office also assisted in the investigation. Search warrants that led to the arrests were secured in Henry County.
