Chief Scott Booth promoted officers to the ranks of captain, lieutenant, sergeant and corporal in a ceremony held in the Danville City Council Chambers on Monday.
Booth said he was proud of the four and their service to the police department and the community, adding that he is confident that their “great work will continue.”
The officers promoted are: Captain David Whitley; Lieutenant Samuel Bray; Sergeant Dustin Shively; and Corporal Jonathan Masi.
