President – National – Popular Vote

Democrat Joe Biden leads in the current electoral vote count, 210 to 195 for President Donald Trump.

President Donald Trump has won Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, Tennessee, South Carolina and Florida.

Democrat Joe Biden has won Washington, Oregon, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Illinois, Virginia, New York, Maryland, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, Delaware, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and the District of Columbia.

Biden has the lead in the race to 270, being up 210 to 195 for President Trump.  Some states will spend several days counting absentee and early voting results.

Local Elections

Danville voters approve casino referendum. 13,022 people voting to approve casino and 5,941 people voting against it.

Bryant Hood leads in 3-way race for Danville city Council with 7,074 votes. Fred Shanks has 6,985 votes; Petrina Carter 4,141. 600 mail-in ballots are unaccounted for and less than 100 provisional ballots remaining. 

Mail in ballots postmarked by November 3rd will still be accepted through Friday November 6th.
