(Danville, Va.) – An 18-year-old is recovering after suffering a gunshot wound on Paxton Street overnight.

Danville Police were called to the 1200 block of Paxton just before 10 p.m. Wednesday in reference to a shooting. They found a teenager who’d been wounded. He was taken to SOVAH Health for treatment of what police describe as a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his shoulder.

No arrests have been made and police are asking anyone with information on the shooting to call Danville Crime Stoppers at (434) 793-0000.
