(Cascade, Va.) — The owner of Guns, Gear and Ammo in Pittsylvania County has rebuilt a wall after would-be burglars used a box truck in an attempt to gain entry to the business.

Joshua Jennings, the store owner, has had burglaries in the past but never one like this. He got an alert in the middle of the night and immediately drove to his shop in the Cascade community.

Although the burglars were able to get inside the store, they left empty-handed because all of the guns had been secured under lock and key. A surveillance video shows the truck ramming the store repeatedly and nearly hitting an accomplice who was inside the shop.

No arrests have been made but the Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation.
