(Martinsville, Va.) – Police are looking for a 21-year-old Martinsville man following a drug-related shooting outside a convenience store.

Police received a 911 received that someone had been shot in the parking lot of BG’s Express in Martinsville around 2:30 Friday.

On arrival, police found a 17-year-old lying behind the store with a gunshot wound to his stomach. He was airlifted to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital where he underwent surgery.

Joshua Wisener is wanted for malicious wounding, grand larceny and firearms charges.

Investigators say the shooting followed a disagreement involving illegal drugs.
