Average gas prices across Virginia are up by two pennies compared to last week at $4.32 a gallon, according to AAA, while the average price of gas across the county is down by a penny this week to $4.51.

The average price of gas in Danville is up by three cents this week to $4.19, while the average in Pittsylvania County is up by a nickel this week to $4.29 a gallon. The average price in Martinsville remained the same this week at $4.18 a gallon and in Henry County the average price also remained the same at $4.18 a gallon. The average price in Halifax County fell by six cents this week to $4.17 a gallon.
