Three men have been arrested in connection to a homicide in Rockingham County. On Wednesday, the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office met with investigators of the Eden Police Department in reference to a subject who had arrived at UNC Rockingham Hospital with a gunshot wound.

The Eden Police Detectives had begun an investigation into the shooting as it was found to have occurred in the jurisdiction of Rockingham County. As Rockingham County Detectives were conducting the investigation it was learned the victim had succumbed to his injuries.

After a thorough investigation and with the assistance of Eden Police Department, Henry County Sheriff’s Office, Rockingham County 911 Communications, Emergency Management Services, State Bureau of Investigation and District Attorney Katy Gregg, Detectives with the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office have charged Daniel Ian Woods Jr with Second Degree Murder of Anterrion Spencer.

Additionally, Detectives took Tristian Giles and Sincere Jamison into custody on multiple felony charges stemming from the incident. Both have been charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver a Schedule VI Controlled Substance and Possession of a Weapon of Mass Destruction.

Jamison was apprehended in Martinsville and is currently being held in Virginia under no bond. Giles surrendered himself to the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday. Giles is currently being held at the Rockingham County Jail under a $110,000 secured bond.
