(Danville, Va.) – A Danville woman was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night.

Police were called to the 600 block of Arnett Blvd about 8:30 by a female who reported that she was approached by three teenagers, one of whom pointed a gun at her and demanded her purse. During the confrontation, the teen with the gun tried unsuccessfully to take the purse by force.

They were able to get the victim’s keys and left in her green, 2014 Kia Sportage SUV with Virginia tags WPB- 9020.

The victim suffered minor injuries and was treated at SOVAH Health Danville.

A surveillance photo of three teens walking in the 600 block of Arnett during this time frame appears to show the suspects.

The Danville Police Department is asking anyone with information on the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 793-0000.
