Danville is proud to be recognized as a Bee City USA, demonstrating our city’s commitment to creating healthy habitats that support pollinators, such as native bees, butterflies, moths, hummingbirds, and more.
If you would like to learn more and get involved the city will host its 1st Annual Bee Coty USA meeting on Monday, March 23rd from 5:30-7:30pm in the Ballou Park recreation center. This event will be on the 2nd floor in the nature center.
To get involved, please contact the Bee City Committee at beecitydva@gmail.com or City Horticulturist Jessica Smith.
