A Yanceyville man was arrested on drug charges in Caswell County on Thursday. According to the Caswell County Sheriff’s Office, Derick Parker, 28, was arrested on charges of possession with the intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver cocaine, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a felon, two counts of exposing a child to a controlled substance, possession of stolen goods, and conspiring to sell cocaine.

Parker was placed in the Caswell County Detention Center under a $210k secured bond. His first court appearance has been scheduled for February 11.
