- Light snow continues to fall. Danville has received about 1 inch since snowfall began around 5 p.m. Friday. Light to moderate snow is expected to continue through the day. Unlike last weekend’s storm, this snow is dry.
- The current temperature is 17 degrees, with wind chills around 6 degrees. Daytime temperatures will reach only the low 20s.
- The Temporary Relief & Counseling Center (TRCC) at 625 Shelton St. is operating a 24-hour warming center for any resident or visitor in need of shelter.
- Public Works crews began plowing operations overnight on major thoroughfares. They also spread salt and sand. Primary streets are in fair condition with slushy patches. Crews are working 12-hour shifts and will continue focusing on main streets, bridges, and overpasses until the storm ends.
- The Police Department reports four weather-related accidents overnight.
- Danville Utilities reports seven power outages affecting seven customers.
