The average price of gas in Danville is up by eight cents this week to $2.70, while the average in Pittsylvania County is up by three cents this week to $2.71 a gallon. The average price in Martinsville is up by three cents this week to $2.71 a gallon and in Henry County the average price climbed up by a dime to $2.74 a gallon. The average price in Halifax County shot up by 21 cents this week to $2.92 a gallon.
