Average gas prices across Virginia are down seven cents from last week to $2.71 a gallon. The average price this week is 17 cents cheaper in Virginia than it was a year ago.

The average price of gas across the county is down by a nickel this week to $2.85, which is 19 cents cheaper than it was a year ago.

The average price of gas in Danville is $2.62, while the average in Pittsylvania County is $2.72. The average price in Martinsville is $2.75 this week and in Henry County the average price is down to $2.68 a gallon. The average price in Halifax County is up to $2.77 a gallon.
