A Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect from 7 pm tonight until 12 pm on Tuesday. According to the National Weather Service in Blacksburg, Mixed precipitation is expected. Total snow accumulations up to one inch along I-64 and ice accumulations up to two tenths of an inch.

Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning commute.

The advisory is in effect for Danville, Pittsylvania County, Martinsville, and Henry County.
