Investigators from the Henry County Sheriff’s Office have charged three individuals in connection with a residential break-in and theft of two classic automobiles from the Stones Dairy Road area.

Between November 5, 2025, and November 17, 2025, Brent Doss, William Doss, and Bobby Leagans entered a residence in the 2000 block of Stones Dairy Road and stole a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, a 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle, and other household items.

On November 17, 2025, within one hour of being notified of the residential break in, investigators located the 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle. Investigators continued following leads and searching for the remaining stolen property.

On November 20, 2025, a concerned citizen reported a blue Chevrolet Camaro parked in a wooded area off Microfilm Road just inside Patrick County. Deputies from Patrick County Sheriff’s Office and the Henry County Sheriff’s Office responded. The vehicle was confirmed to be the stolen 1969 Camaro.

During the investigation at the scene, deputies located Bobby Leagans who was previously wanted in Henry County for a probation violation. When deputies took him into custody, Leagans was found with the key to the stolen Camaro in his pocket.

45-year-old 𝐁𝐨𝐛𝐛𝐲 𝐄𝐮𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐬 has been charged with:

  • Violation of Virginia Code Section: 19.2-306 – Probation Violation (felony)
  • Violation of Virginia Code Section: 18.2-95 – Grand Larceny (2 counts) (felony)

38-year-old 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐚𝐲 𝐃𝐨𝐬𝐬 has been charged with:

  • Violation of Virginia Code Section: 18.2-95 – Grand Larceny (felony)
  • Violation of Virginia Code Section: 18.2-91 – Statutory Burglary (2 counts) (felony)
  • Violation of Virginia Code Section: 18.2-96 – Petit Larceny (misdemeanor)

60-year-old 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐦 𝐀𝐥𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐃𝐨𝐬𝐬 has been charged with:

  • Violation of Virginia Code Section: 18.2-91 – Statutory Burglary (2 counts) (felony)
  • Violation of Virginia Code Section: 18.2-95 – Grand Larceny (felony)
  • Violation of Virginia Code Section: 18.2-96 – Petit Larceny (misdemeanor)
