Three local nonprofits are set to receive donations from a bank. First National Bank announced that its Community Impact Foundation will present five donations of $2,700 to area nonprofits.
Campers Care Ministry in Pittsylvania County, The Haven of the Dan River Region, and Feed Halifax will all receive the donations. Campers Care Ministry has been helping provide shelter to those that were impacted by Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina for the last 13 months.
Haven of the Dan River Region (HDRR) is Danville & Pittsylvania County’s Sexual Assault Agency dedicated to the empowerment of victims of violence, while eliminating social injustices.
Feed Halifax is a community-driven coalition of food banks and food support organizations dedicated to combating food insecurity in Halifax County. Their mission is to ensure that no one in the community goes hungry.
First National Banks Community Impact Foundation is funded by First National Bank employees along with a corporate match. The foundation has donated over $127,000 to organizations making a meaningful difference in our communities.
