The Danville Police Department is investigating a hit and run that occurred around 2:15 am Sunday, Aug. 24 in the 100 block of West Main Street near Sovah Health Danville.

A 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee was found by officers overturned and on fire. A light pole was damaged as a result of the crash.

The crash remains under investigation, as well as who was driving the vehicle.
