Update: The suspect is now in custody and both children are safe. Sheriff Wayne Davis Told Star News TV that 30-year-old Joshua Coleman has been arrested for the homicides. Coleman was taken into custody at 35 Dupont Road.

Coleman is believed to be the father of the children that were abducted.

A suspect is wanted after killing two people in Ridgeway on Tuesday and abducting two small children. According to BTW 21, the shooting occurred at around 1 pm in the 300 block of Meeks Road.

When deputies arrived on scene they found a man and woman that had been killed in a domestic-related shooting. Sheriff Wayne Davis says they believe a 2-year-old and 11-month-old were taken from the scene.

The identity of the suspect has not been released at this time. Authorities are working to locate the suspect and officials are considering the situation calls for an AMBER Alert.
