On Wednesday, the Danville School Board voted in favor of salary increases for the members of the board. The resolution passed 5-1 and will triple the salary of Danville School Board members starting on January 1, 2027.

Members of the Danville School Board are currently paid $5,000 a year. The new resolution will increase the salary of school board members to $15,000 a year.

The Chair of the School Board will receive an additional $2,000 as a supplement to the increased salary.
