A local organization is assisting those in need following the devastating storms that hit Kentucky last week. Gretna based Campers Care LLC is building security cabins for those in need.

The local non-profit has set up a build in Chatham and will deliver the cabins to London, Kentucky over the next few days. The security cabins will serve as a secure structure for families and individuals that are able to salvage personal effects following recovery from the storms. 

Volunteers and donations are needed to assist with the efforts. The build site is located at 19549 US Hwy 29 in Chatham. Donations can be made online at camperscare.org or by mail to Campers Care PO Box 1145 Gretna, Virginia 24557.
