Two people have been charged with cocaine distribution in Martinsville after search warrants were executed. The Martinsville Police Department says their Special Investigations Unit and State Police executed search warrants at a location on Rives Road and on Spruce Street Extension.

During the search officers found 1.3 kilograms of cocaine, three firearms, and $6,000 in cash. 37-year-old Samuel Hairston was arrested and charged with a second offense of possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, possession of a firearm while in possession of narcotics, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

35-year-old Christopher Martin is still wanted on a third charge of possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute. Anyone who knows Martin’s whereabouts is asked to call Martinsville Police at 276-638-8751.
