The National Weather Service in Blacksburg has issued a Winter Storm Warning across the southside. The warning will be in effect from 5 am on Wednesday until 1 pm on Thursday.

Pittsylvania, Henry, Halifax, Rockingham, and Caswell counties are all included in the warning. As well as the cities of Danville, Martinsville, South Boston, Eden, and Yanceyville.

Most of the southside is currently projected to get 3-4 inches of snow, while Halifax County is projected to get 4-6 inches of snow.
