(King George County, Va.) — Human remains discovered Saturday morning in two locations in rural King George County are believed to be those of missing 19-year-old Megan L. Metzger. The Appomattox County woman has been missing since last week.

Virginia State Police earlier issued a Critically Missing Adult Alert for Metzger, saying she had been abducted.

WTVR reports authorities found human remains in the Fairview Beach area of King George County on the Northern Neck.

Nineteen-year-old Juan Benavidez II was arrested Friday and is being held without bond at the Northern Neck Regional Jail. He is charged with a felony count of arson of a vehicle.
