Two people were arrested in Caswell County on Monday on drug charges. The Caswell County Sheriff’s Office in coordination with the FBI Task Force, ATF Task Force and ANET Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence in Prospect Hill.

The search warrant was the result of an undercover investigation into an illegal vape and THC distribution operation reportedly being conducted at the residence. During the search deputies found $200k worth of illegal narcotics, $18k in U.S. currency and multiple firearms.

46-year-old David Howe and 47-year-old Emily Howe have both been charged with trafficking marijuana, trafficking synthetic cannabinoids, possession with the intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a Schedule I Controlled Substance, and maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances.  David Howe has also been charged with possession of a firearm by a felon.

Emily Howe has been released from the Caswell County Adult Detention Center on a $75k bond. David Howe is still in custody under no bond.
