Average gas prices across Virginia rose by 33 cents this week to $3.84 a gallon, according to AAA, while the average price of gas across the county is up by 24 cents this week to $3.95.

The average price of gas in Danville climbed up by 32 cents this week to $3.64, while the average in Pittsylvania County rose by  30 cents this week to $3.70 a gallon. The average price in Martinsville is up by 34 cents this week to $3.72 a gallon and in Henry County the average price jumped up by 31 cents this week to $3.66 a gallon. The average price in Halifax County is up by 30 cents this week to $3.77 a gallon.
