There were no injuries during a fire in Danville on Thursday night. The Danville Fire Department responded to the reported structure fire at 7:31 pm at 820 Melville Avenue.

Once on scene units found heavy flames coming from a window on the front corner of the home. Crews were able to make a quick entry and extinguish the fire without incident.

There were no injuries to report, Danville Life Saving Crew was on scene and assisted with rehab and vitals for all companies on scene. The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Danville Fire Marshals Office. Danville utilities arrived and controlled the electrical power at the pole.
