A Winter Storm Warning is still in effect for our region until 7 am Sunday, however the projected snow totals have decreased. According to the National Weather Service in Blacksburg, Moderate to Heavy snow is expected, with total snow accumulations between 3 and 5 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

An Extreme Cold Watch is in effect from 7 pm Saturday to 10 am on Sunday. Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 8 below are possible.
