
A 7-year-old boy was killed in a crash in Pittsylvania County on Sunday night. Virginia State Police is investigating the single-vehicle crash that occurred at 5:15 pm on Moorefield Bridge Road, two tenths of a mile south of Red Bud Lane in Pittsylvania County.
A 2024 Can-Am Defender Side-by-Side was traveling south on Moorefield Bridge Road, when the vehicle lost control and overturned; partially ejecting the passenger.
The driver, Corey Michael Pullin, 35, of Danville, Va., was injured and was taken to hospital. The passenger, 7-year-old Briggs Pullin was partially ejected and was transported to the hospital by EMS, where he later died.
Alcohol is believed to have been a factor in the crash. Charges are pending and the crash remains under investigation.
