Blairs Fire & Rescue responded a fire in Pittsylvania County early Wednesday morning. The call for the fire came in at 4:30 am for a structure fire in the 2600 Block of Old Richmond Road for a structure fire.

Upon arrival, crews found a 30×20 detached building with fire throughout. The fire was extinguished and no one was found in the building.

The building was reportedly being utilized as living space. Ringgold and Keeling Volunteer Fire Departments assisted with tankers.
