There were no injuries during a structure fire in Danville on Friday. The Danville Fire Department responded to the fire at Riverside Dry Cleaning at 1370 Piney Forest Road on Friday afternoon.

Upon arrival crews found heavy smoke showing from all sides and the roof of a single story business. Crews made entry to search for any possible victims while a second crew attacked the fire.

The fire was determined to be involving two commercial dryers. No victims were found and the fire was quickly extinguished. Crews worked to extinguish hot spots and smoke was removed. The Danville Fire Departments Fire Marshalls Division investigated and determined the cause to be accidental. No injuries were reported.

The fire caused the northbound lanes of Piney Forest Road to be closed for a couple of hours.
