Average gas prices across Virginia increased by six cents this week compared to last week to $2.76 a gallon, According to AAA. The average price of gas across the county is up by three cents this week to $2.82.

The average price of gas in Danville is up by three cents this week to $2.62, while the average in Pittsylvania County is also up by three cents this week to $2.68 a gallon. The average price in Martinsville is up by a penny this week to $2.68 a gallon and in Henry County the average price is down by a penny to $2.64 a gallon. The average price in Halifax County climbed back up by four cents this week to $2.71 a gallon.
