
A woman was arrested following a drive-by shooting in South Boston on Wednesday. According to the South Boston Police Department, the shooting occurred at 2:50 pm in the Sutphin Road area.
Once on scene officers discovered that a 19-year-old male was driving a black Honda sedan when the passenger in a black Honda SUV started shooting at the sedan. There were no injuries in the shooting.
Following an investigation 18-year-old Alexia Wood was arrested. Wood has been charged with attempted second-degree murder, discharging a firearm from a motor vehicle, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Wood is being held under no bond. The investigation is still active, anyone with information is asked to contact the South Boston Police Department at 434-575-7273.
