Multiple fatalities have been reported in a plan crash in Statesville, NC. The plane is owned by former NASCAR driver Greg Biffle.

According to family friend Garrett Mitchell, Biffle, his wife Christina, his daughter Emma, and his son Ryder were on the plane when it crashed.

Six people in total were killed in the crash that occurred at 10:20 am at Statesville Regional Airport.

Biffle won 19 NASCAR Cup Series races during his career and had 175 top ten finishes. After Hurricane Helene in September of 2024, Biffle used his helicopter to deliver aid and rescue victims.
