Average gas prices across Virginia remained the same this week at $2.91 a gallon, while the average price of gas across the country is down by a penny to $3.06 a gallon, according to AAA.

The average price of gas in Danville is down by three cents to $2.73, while the average price in Pittsylvania County remained the same at $2.79 a gallon.

In Martinsville the average price also remained the same at $2.90 a gallon and in Henry County the average price dropped by a nickel this week to $2.81. Prices in Halifax County are down by three cents this week to $2.90 a gallon.
