The Danville Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance with video or information relating to an aggravated assault that occurred in the 600 block of Lynn Street on Saturday

At approximately 3:30 a.m., officers responded to reports of an unconscious 38 year-old male found in a parking lot. He was transported to SOVAH Health and later airlifted to another medical facility for further treatment.

This investigation remains ongoing.

Anyone with information is asked to please contact the Danville Police Department by either calling 911, patrol at 434-799-6510 option 4, or contacting Crime Stoppers at 434-793-0000. Crime Stoppers is pledging $1,000 for a tip that leads to an arrest and conviction.
