One person was injured during a dirt bike crash in Pittsylvania County on Sunday. According to Brosville Volunteer Fire and Rescue, at around 10:40 am, units were dispatched to a call for a person who had fallen. 

Once units arrived on scene it was discovered that the injured person was riding a dirt bike deep in the woods when his foot became entangled in the rear wheel while going up a steep embankment.  The injured person fell from the bike down an approximately 50ft bank into a ravine. 

Due to the injuries the subject was flown to a trauma center from the scene.
