
A man was arrested in Reidsville on drug charges Monday. According to the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and the Reidsville Police Department executed a search warrant at 155 Cook Florist Rd. in Reidsville.
During the search deputies found 5 ounces of fentanyl, U.S currency, and a handgun. As a result 34-year-old Dre Dijon Neal was arrested and charged with Felony Trafficking Opium or Heroin, Felony Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Felony Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Schedule I Controlled Substance, Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana up to ½ Oz. Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling or Place for Controlled Substances, and Misdemeanor Resisting a Public Officer.
Neal was taken before the Magistrate where he was given a $1 million secured bond and placed in the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office Detention Facility. Neal is scheduled to appear in Rockingham County District Court on September 22.
