Three people were charged in Caswell County on Sunday for having drugs at a prison. According to the Caswell County Sheriff’s Office, 36-year-old Amy Lawson, of Brown Summit, NC, has been charged with possession of methamphetamine, delivering meth, delivering marijuana, two counts of possession of controlled substances on prison premises, two counts of providing contraband to an inmate and identity theft.

She was placed in the Caswell County Detention Center under no bond.

Additionally, 42-year-old Simon Gardner and 77-year-old Ernest Cook were both charged. Gardner has been charged with possession of a controlled substance on prison premises and simple possession of a schedule VI drug. He was placed in the Caswell County Detention Center under a $22,500 secured bond.

Cook has been charged with possession of a controlled substance on prison premises, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released after posting a $20k unsecured bond.
