Yesterday the Danville Planning Commission recommended approval of a proposed UPS store in Danville. The developers are seeking a Special Use Permit (SUP) to establish The UPS Store at 3308 Riverside Drive (Parcel 55466). The property is located within the Highway Retail Commercial Zoning District, where private post office and delivery service establishments are permitted by Special Use Permit.

The proposed establishment, located within Riverside Shopping Center, will not require additional parking, even with the inclusion of two designated 15-minute spaces. Danville City Council will vote on the proposed UPS Store on September 2.
