A woman was killed during a stabbing in Reidsville on Tuesday. According to the Reidsville Police Department, officers responded at 5:37 pm to a disturbance call at the 800 block of Summit Avenue.
When officers arrived, they located an unresponsive female with stab wounds. Rockingham County EMS arrived and transported the victim to a local hospital, where she later died as a result of her injuries. The victim was identified as Brianna E. Best, 27, of Greensboro.
Ana Tonche-Garza was arrested and charged with voluntary manslaughter. She is currently being held on a $1,000,000 secured bond, with a court date scheduled for August 20.
