Tonight Martinsville City Council voted to fire City Manager Aretha Ferrell-Benavides. The vote passed with a vote of 4-1.

Mayor L.C. Jones was the only no vote. Ferrell Benavides came under scrutiny recently for charges that were placed on the city’s credit card.
