(Danville, VA) – Danville Police Are investigating a homicide that took place in the 100 block of Cooper Street Sunday morning.  Just after 3:30am authorities responded to reports of a noise complaint and a gathering on the street was broken up.

As officers were leaving the scene they heard a single gunshot. Upon returning they found Ketasha Fuller, 23 of Danville suffering from a gunshot wound.  She was transported to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Video from the scene showed Fuller and a male having an argument before a handgun was produced and the single shot was fired. This incident remains under investigation.
