The Henry County Sheriff’s Office and the Martinsville City Sheriff’s Office have announced a new partnership to bring Project Lifesaver to the area. This comes at no cost to the community.

This life-saving program is designed to help locate individuals who are at risk of wandering due to Alzheimer’s, dementia, autism, or other cognitive conditions. With wearable tracking devices and specially trained teams, law enforcement can respond quickly. Participants in the program will wear a small tracking device on their wrist or ankle to help locate them if they go missing.
