Several roads in Halifax County are still closed due to flooding. The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office says the following roads are still closed:
Route 58 – Philpott Road ( Sink Hole and Slope Failure, abutment repairs needed)
Route 96 – Virgilina Road
Route 501 – Huell Matthews Hwy
Route 601 – Buckshoal Road
Route 710 – Bethel Hill Road
Route 711 – Denniston Road
Route 714 – Woodsdale Road
Route 730 – Ramble Road
Route 738 – Kingswoods Road
Route 744 – E. Hyco Road
Route 741 – Lowery Road
