The Danville Pittsylvania Chamber of Commerce announces the launch of its Chamber Ambassador Program, an exciting initiative designed to strengthen member engagement, promote goodwill, and help serve as the welcoming face of the Chamber to the business community.
Ambassadors will play a key role in supporting Chamber events, connecting with new members, and serving as a bridge between the Chamber and the broader community. These highly engaged business professionals will volunteer their time and talents to help foster relationships, promote member benefits, and elevate the visibility of the Chamber across the region.
“We’re thrilled to introduce this program as part of our continued effort to provide meaningful opportunities for leadership, visibility, and connection within our membership,” said Christy Harper, Director of Membership Engagement. “Ambassadors are the heartbeat of our outreach – they’re our greeters, connectors, and champions in the community.”
The Ambassador Program includes structured training, monthly check-ins, and public recognition for outstanding service. Ambassadors will have opportunities to increase their own visibility, enhance their professional networks, and help shape the Chamber’s impact throughout a region that is on the cusp of exponential growth.
Applications are now being accepted for the first cohort of Chamber Ambassadors. Business professionals who are active Chamber members, passionate about networking, and committed to building a stronger business community are encouraged to apply.
An Ambassador Interest Luncheon is scheduled for Thursday, July 17, 2025, from noon until 1:30pm in the Danville Pittsylvania United Way Board Room located at 308 Craghead Street. There is no fee to attend but registration is required.
