A woman has been arrested in connection to a double murder in Reidsville. 39-year-old Leslie Moyer, of Eden, has been charged with being an accessory after the fact for the double homicide that occurred on June 12.

Moyer is being held at the Rockingham County Detention Center on a $500,000 secured bond and is scheduled for a first appearance court date on July 7, 2025. Reidsville Police are still looking for 45-year-old Dexter Lamar Scales on two charges of first degree murder.

The charges stem from the shooting deaths of 42-year-old Samuel Brook and 37-year-old Shanika Penn on June 12 in the area of 500 Roach Street.
